Ship's mast
-You know, a bar offers all kind of things other than alcohol.
-Hmm. Really? Like what?
-Women, nacho grande platters, the fellowships of fascinating individuals like Warren here. Alcohol is just a lubricant for all the individual encounters that a bar offers.
Jungle Julia: Jesus Christ, Shanna, it is not my fuckin' job to supply y'all with weed whenever we go out.
Shanna: Whoa, whoa whoa, little lady, you're gettin' angry kinda quick, doncha think? I was just teasin' you!
Jungle Julia: I'm not angry, it would be nice if y'all didn't just count on me all the fucking time and surprise me every once in a while with pot.

Sometimes the greatest journey is the distance between two people
I knew when I married you that you were selfish and spoiled. But I loved you. I knew you only married me to get as far away from your mother as possible. And I hoped that one day... there'd be something more. I was wrong. You don't have it in you.
Kitty Fane: For God's sake, Walter, will you stop punishing me? Do you absolutely despise me?
Walter Fane: No. I despise myself.
Kitty Fane: Why?
Walter Fane: For allowing myself to love you once.
Walter Fane: No. I despise myself.
Kitty Fane: Why?
Walter Fane: For allowing myself to love you once.
If people only spoke when they had something to say, the human race would soon lose the power of speech.
Kitty Fane: Walter, stop. I'm pregnant.
Walter Fane: A baby?
[while Walter begins to look elated, Kitty looks terrified]
Walter Fane: You're quite certain?
Kitty Fane: Yes.
Walter Fane: Well, that's wonderful.
[he sees the scared look on Kitty's face and the he remembers; Kitty's affair with Charlie Townsend]
Walter Fane: How long do you think you've been like this?
Kitty Fane: Two months. Maybe longer.
Walter Fane: [his expression becomes solemn] Kitty. Am I the father?
Kitty Fane: [crying softly] I honestly don't know. I'm sorry.
Walter Fane: Well... It doesn't matter now, does it?
Kitty Fane: No. No, it doesn't.

In my arms she was always...
Lolita.
Light of my life...
fire of my loins.
My sin... my soul.
I looked and looked at her,
and I knew as clearly as I know that I will die... that I loved her more than anything I'd ever seen or imagined on earth.
She was only the dead leaf echo of the nymphet from long ago,
but I loved her; this Lolita, pale and polluted,
and big with another man's child.
She would fade and wither, I didn't care.
I would still go mad with tenderness...
at the mere sight of her face.
